Due to computer problems earlier in the week, this was delayed slightly. So this is going to be a bit brief by comparison. I have received news about several great events coming up this summer, so the brevity of the listings here should be short-lived. Do note that a couple of these are copied over from the ongoing LOVIEE since I’m not sure who’s still looking there, and there are things there too good to simply be forgotten.

2600 Magazine meeting, The Galleria, Ninfa’s Express next to Nordstrom’s (in Galleria IV), 6pm-?. Gathering of computer and technology enthusiasts centered around the magazine’s readership. Z-14 (recurs monthly)

Runaway Sun “Let’s Run” Release Party, Continental Club, 3700 Main, 8pm, $10. The local blues-rock act is back in town after a tour of the south. “Let’s Run”, the second full-length album from Runaway Sun, has actually been out for a couple of weeks, but this will be the first local show by the band since the tour. Clory Martin, guest vocalist on two tracks of the band’s first album, will be the opening act.
