Winter is upon us once again. Whether it be ice skating or a street painting festival or something else entirely, there’s a lot to look forward in November and early December. (More events will be added next week.)

The Ice at Discovery Green, see website for times, $12 including skate rental and tax. It’s a rare chance to ice skate outdoors in Houston, and it only comes around for a few weeks every winter. 12/13-IADG
