Extra Life Marathon, Microsoft Store, Houston Galleria, 6pm-6am, $24 suggested donation (until 9pm)/$24 entry fee (after 9pm). A primarily video game marathon benefiting Texas Children’s Hospital locally. Food and drinks will be available, as well as a live musical act as the night wears on. Deena Moore Benefit, Jimmy’s Ice House, 2803 White Oak, noon-5pm, $8. BBQ fundraiser for a teacher who was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in 2009. 11-W41-2
